House rules
Overnighters is a home for small apps, kept by the people who build them. Every Maker accepts these rules when taking up an Invitation. They are short on purpose.
-
01
Publish your own work
Every Listing is an app you made, or one you have the right to show. No resold templates, no copies of someone else’s app.
-
02
Apps a Visitor can try
A Listing points at something that runs. No placeholders, no waiting lists, no screenshots of an idea.
-
03
Honest words
Say what the app does. No invented numbers, fake praise or borrowed screenshots.
-
04
Safe to open
No malware, phishing or tracking without consent, and nothing that takes money or data under false pretences.
-
05
Nothing that harms people
No harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal where it runs.
-
06
Inquiries are about the app
Answer Inquiries about your Listings yourself, off the site. Don’t use them to pitch something else.
-
07
One Maker, one person
Your Invitation is yours. Don’t share your sign-in or hand your Handle to someone else.
